Recipe Contributors Wanted

Kim's Catalog Co. is creating a custom cookbook featuring favorite recipes from our members. These cookbooks will be professionally published and are sure to be a treasured keepsake for us all.   Please submit 3-5 of your favorite recipes so you can be represented in our cookbook.  We are using Morris Press Cookbook’s web site to easily submit recipes online. If you do not have Internet access, our committee can enter them for you. Submit hardcopies of your recipes to Kim.  Call 716-342-4748.
We anticipate a great demand for our cookbooks, and we want to be certain to order enough. To reserve your copies, email Kim at kbkimberanek@gmail.com with the number of cookbooks you will be purchasing. Please submit your recipes online by March 1st, 2018  so we can meet our deadline.

Mealtime Wisdom for Picky Eaters!! Parents know how frustrating it can be to get their children to try and enjoy new foods.  Below are some ideas and tips that will help kids do just that. MUFFIN TIN MEALS Kids love to get thier hands into everything, big or small.  Set up a "finger food buffet" and have your kids pick the items they'd like to eat.  They'll feel included in the process, which will increase their interest in trying a little bit of everything.  Start with a muffin tin (or any small container with compartments) and customize the meal by filling the sections with bit-size portions of colorful, nutritious foods.  Some great food ideas include: cubed cheese, whole grain cereals, grapes, sugar snap peas, baby carrots, cherry tomatoes, and chicken nuggets.  Once you've filled the compartments, let them pick their items, allowing them to be hands-on with their meal.
